Who is responsible for your information

dshiƩ Skincare, trading as dishiƩ Skincare in Nigeria, is responsible for personal information processed for our store at lovedishie.com. Contact us at support@lovedishie.com for privacy questions or requests. This policy covers our website, customer accounts, orders, support conversations, and website sign-up forms.

Information we collect

  • Orders and accounts: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery details, account information, purchases, and order or refund records.
  • Payment information: payment status, transaction references, and details needed to reconcile purchases. Payment providers process payment credentials according to the method you select.
  • Support and sign-ups: messages, your email address, consent choices, and information you choose to send through a form or live chat.
  • Browsing information: IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, approximate location derived from technical information, referral information, cookie identifiers, and shopping interactions.
  • Public contributions: reviews and the name or display details you choose to publish.

Please avoid sending unnecessary identity documents, financial credentials, or sensitive medical information. If a product concern requires sensitive information, we will explain what is needed and the basis for handling it.

Why we use information and our legal basis

  • To fulfil purchases: process payments, manage accounts, deliver orders, and handle returns where necessary to perform a contract or take steps you request before a purchase.
  • To meet legal duties: keep required records and respond to lawful requests, including tax and consumer protection obligations.
  • To run and protect the store: prevent abuse, resolve support requests, maintain service security, and understand service performance where a legitimate interest applies and does not override your rights.
  • For optional marketing and tracking: use consent where required for promotional messages, advertising technologies, and non-essential cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

If information is necessary to complete an order and you do not provide it, we may be unable to fulfil that order. Optional marketing is not a condition of buying from us.

Discount sign-ups and marketing choices

If you request a welcome discount by email, we use your email address to deliver and administer that offer and help prevent repeated redemption. A promotional sign-up may also invite you to opt in to marketing. Where we request marketing consent, your choice should be clear and separate from a purchase.

You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or contact support@lovedishie.com. Necessary order, refund, security, and requested discount messages are separate from general marketing.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The store uses cookies and similar technologies for cart contents, account sessions, security, currency preferences, and related shopping functions. Analytics and advertising technologies can also collect browsing information and interaction events.

Website integrations include Google Analytics, Meta advertising tools, and WordPress/WooCommerce analytics. Google and Meta may process identifiers, device information, page visits, and shopping events under their own privacy notices. Advertising integrations may match information to accounts with those providers. These are not required to place an order.

Browser settings can block or delete cookies, although this may affect account or cart functions. You can also use Google and Meta’s privacy and advertising controls. Where the site provides a cookie preference control, use it to manage optional tracking. Browser controls alone may not prevent every form of server-side measurement.

Providers and other recipients

We share relevant information with providers needed to operate the store, according to the service or payment method used:

  • Payments: providers connected to our checkout, including Paystack and Stripe/WooPayments where available.
  • Shipping: delivery and logistics providers, including Shipbubble and the courier handling an order.
  • Website and support: hosting, WordPress/WooCommerce services, security and technical providers, and Tawk.to live chat.
  • Email and marketing: services used for communications, including Brevo and Mailchimp when the relevant integration is used.
  • Measurement and advertising: Google, Meta, and WordPress/WooCommerce analytics services described above.

Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers or public authorities where necessary and lawful. Providers may act on our instructions or as independent data controllers for their own service responsibilities. Their own privacy notices explain that processing.

International processing

Some providers operate or store information outside Nigeria. International processing must use a lawful transfer basis and safeguards required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Contact us if you want information about a relevant destination or transfer safeguard.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the purpose of the record. Order and payment records are kept for applicable accounting, tax, consumer claims, and dispute requirements. Account data is retained while an account is needed and for justified legal or security purposes afterwards. Marketing and support records are retained only while needed for their purposes, including recording withdrawal of consent and handling outstanding concerns.

We assess whether information can be deleted or anonymised when its purpose ends, subject to legal duties and secure backup cycles. Ask us about retention for a particular record. We use appropriate access and security measures, but no internet service can promise absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may request information about processing, access to your data, corrections, deletion, restriction, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an objection to processing. You may also seek human review of a decision made solely by automated means where the law provides that right.

Send requests to support@lovedishie.com. We may ask for proportionate information to verify identity without requesting unnecessary sensitive documents. Some records must be retained by law; if a request cannot be fully granted, we will explain the reason and available options.

You may complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. Contacting us first is helpful but does not remove your right to approach the regulator.

Children, public content, and external links

The store is intended for purchases by people legally able to enter the transaction, or with appropriate parent or guardian involvement. We do not invite children to provide personal information independently. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information without the appropriate involvement or consent.

Published reviews can be viewed by other visitors. Third-party links, social services, and embedded content have their own data practices. Their privacy notices apply to their services.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the store or its services change. The date above identifies the latest version. Where the law requires a further notice or fresh consent, an update to this page alone does not replace that requirement.
